Wesley Eberle is a global communications leader with 25 years of experience in political and corporate communications advising C-level executives on a broad range of complex communications challenges, leading agency and corporate communications teams, and working extensively across geographies and cultures.
Wesley Eberle is currently principal of Eberle & Partners through which he provides strategic communications consulting services to clients across a variety of industries and geographies. He is also a senior independent advisor to Cité Gestion, a Swiss private bank headquartered in Geneva.
Previously, Eberle was Head of Communications for Natixis Investment Managers where he led all strategic communications for Natixis IM and its 23 affiliated investment management companies across Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and Latin America, and shaped global strategy as a member of the Executive Committee.
He established a new global communications function across more than 20 global markets and counselled the company through periods of rapid growth, global expansion, crisis, M&A, and corporate restructuring.
He led the group’s brand growth from the Top 100 to the Top 10 in 2020, when Natixis IM was named the fastest-rising fund brand in Europe, and shaped its reputation for broad investment expertise, leadership in ESG and sustainable investing, and a strong voice on industry issues like transparency and investor-focused reforms.
He was previously Vice President of the communications practice at O’Neill and Associates, New England’s largest public affairs firm, where he developed and directed media, public affairs, political, and crisis communications campaigns for public and private entities. He specialised in a variety of industries including financial services, energy, infrastructure, transportation, education, real estate, hospitality, charity and philanthropy, and organised labour.
Eberle began his career in politics, serving with U.S. Senator John Kerry, U.S. Senator Edward Kennedy, U.S. Senator Richard Durbin and the Democratic National Committee. He was Deputy Head of Communications for the 2004 Democratic National Convention.
He is active in charity and philanthropy and counsels nonprofit organisations on strategic communications issues. He served on the Advisory Board of Team London, the Mayor's programme for volunteering and social action, and as Chairman of the Massachusetts Alliance on Teen Pregnancy. He is a Fellow of the U.S.-Spain Council. He graduated from Boston University with a B.A. in International Relations and Economics.
